Indications for use
cataflam is used to remove pain and swelling caused by osteoarthritis (type of arthritis associated with damage to the joints), rheumatoid arthritis (arthritis caused by swelling of the mucous membrane of the joints), and ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis that mainly affects the spine). cataflam is tablets immediate action that also used to treat painful menstruation and pain caused by other reasons. cataflam is in a class nesteroidne anti-inflammatory drugs. It works block the body's production of substances that cause pain, fever or inflammation.
Before taking cataflam, consult with your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to cataflam. Ask your pharmacist for a list of the inactive ingredients. Tell your doctor and pharmacist about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements and herbal products you are taking or plan to take. Be sure to mention the medications listed sections "Important notice" and any of the following drugs: angiotensin-converting enzyme , such as benazepril , captopril , enalapril and etc. Your doctor may need to change the doses of your medicines or carefully monitor you to determine the side effects. Say your doctor if you have or ever had any of the conditions set forth in this section, a Warning or asthma, especially if you also have a frequently runny nose or nasal polyps (swelling of the lining of the nose); red (a condition in which the body attacks many of its own tissues and organs, often including the skin, joints, blood and kidneys); porphyria (an abnormal increase in the number of certain natural substances made in the liver); liver disease or kidney disease; or swelling of hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs. If you are planning surgical intervention, including dental surgery, tell the doctor or dentist that you are taking cataflam.
In case of overdose, call local poison control center. If the victim fell or is not breathing, immediately call local medical service. Symptoms of overdose may include:
- abdominal pain
- bloody, black or tarry stool
- vomiting blood, vomiting that looks like coffee clumps
- slow, incomplete, or irregular breathing
- loss of consciousness
cataflam can cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms appeared and does not disappear:
- gas or bloating
- ringing in the ears
- weight loss
- excessive fatigue
- lack of energy
- loss of appetite
- pain in the right upper abdomen
- yellowing of the skin or eyes
- flu-like symptoms
- swelling of the eyes, face, tongue, lips, throat, arms, hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs
- difficulty breathing or swallowing
- pale skin
- discolored or bloody urine
- back pain
- difficulty urinating or painful urination
cataflam may cause other side effects.
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, continue to follow the normal routine food.
If you missed the reception
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember about the missed medication. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for missed.
Definitely get a doctor's prescription. Don't let anyone take medication without a prescription. If you have any questions be sure to consult with your doctor. Be sure to save the list of purchased and used drugs ( both prescription and not) , as well as control the use of such produktow as vitamins, minerals, other dietary supplements. This list will be useful to you each time you visit a doctor or are admitted to the hospital. This is important information for first aid in case if there is an emergency.
