In children with risk factors for pancreatitis or a history of a combination of Epivir and zidovudine should be used with extreme caution and only if no alternative therapy. Treatment is terminated when the occurrence of clinical or laboratory symptoms of pancreatitis. Patients with renal impairment are recommended a smaller dose.
