Dosage form:

Indications for use of the drug Lincocin:

Bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms (especially staphylococci and streptococci, especially microorganisms resistant to penicillins and if you are allergic to penicillins): sepsis, subacute bacterial endocarditis, chronic pneumonia, lung abscess, empyema, pleurisy, otitis, osteomyelitis (acute and chronic), purulent arthritis, postoperative septic complications, wound infection, infections of skin and soft tissues (pyoderma, furunculosis, phlegmon, erysipelas).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, severe hepatic and/or renal failure; lactation, early infancy (up to 1 month).C caution. Fungal diseases of the skin, mucous membranes of the mouth, vagina; male (for parenteral administration).

Method of application and dose:

Parenterally: in/in, in/m, inside.

The daily dose for adults when administered parenterally - 1.8 g-time - 0.6 g. in severe infections the daily dose can be increased to 2.4 g (3 doses every 8 hours).

Children - a daily dose of 10-20 mg/kg, regardless of age. /- Only the drip, with a speed of 60-80 drops/min. Before the introduction of 2 ml of a 30% solution (0.6 g) was diluted with 250 ml 0.9% NaCl solution.

Inside for 1-2 hours before eating. For adults, the daily dose of 1-1.5 g single 0.5 g. For children, the daily dose 30-60 mg/kg.

The duration of treatment depending on the type and severity of the disease is 7-14 days (osteomyelitis - 3 weeks or more).

For prolonged or repeated courses of treatment should be under the control of the liver and kidneys.

Renal-hepatic insufficiency parenteral should be used in a daily dose not exceeding 1.8 g, with the interval between injections not less than 12 h.
